• 1964 - Leonard Swindley accepts Emily Nugent's marriage proposal despite initially turning it down.
• 1968 - Elsie Tanner and Dot Greenhalgh start working at MacAverty's Department Store.
• 1996 - Alec Gilroy buys No.12 for £29,500. Terry Duckworth visits Jack and Vera and brings their grandson Tommy.
• 2001 - Audrey Roberts tells a stunned Mike Baldwin that his ex-wife Alma Halliwell doesn't have long to live.
• 2002 - Gordon Clegg and Bet Lynch turn up at the Rovers for Betty Williams' retirement party.
• 2007 - Ken and Deirdre Barlow reconcile after a rough patch in their marriage. Final appearance of Denise Osbourne.
• 2010 - Gail McIntyre is acquitted of the murder of Joe McIntyre. Tracy Barlow, who testified in court that Gail had confessed to the murder, is beaten up by Lyn Fulwood in prison for being a snitch.
• 2011 - Graeme Proctor confesses to his girlfriend Tina McIntyre that he has slept with and fallen in love with Xin Proctor, who he married only as part of a visa scam but has grown genuinely close to.
