• 1960 - Joe McIntyre is born.
• 1962 - Harry Hewitt and Len Fairclough fight when Len insults Concepta. For once it is Len who is the loser in such an encounter.
• 1965 - Shirley Armitage is born.
• 1988 - Alan Bradley gets a reluctant Rita Fairclough to lend him £6,000 to start up his security business.
• 1997 - Lorry driver Ron Harris makes a forceful play for a scared Audrey Roberts when she is alone in the cafe.
• 2003 - Following his fling with Julie Roxburgh, Steve McDonald is thrown out of his flat by Karen.
• 2005 - An unbalanced Katy Harris deliberately puts herself into a diabetic coma by destroying her insulin. The first Episode that day is also the 6000th
• 2008 - In an effort to show that he takes responsibility for his actions, David Platt pleads guilty at his court case for multiple counts of criminal damage and assault.
• 2010 - Sophie Webster kisses her friend Sian Powers.
• 2011 - Faced with finding the money to buy the Rovers Return so that he can run it with Liz, Jim McDonald tries to steal it from a bank but is apprehended by the police and arrested.
