• 1969 - Ken Barlow starts teaching at Bessie Street School.
• 1989 - Following Alan Bradley's death, Jenny Bradley idenitifies her dad's body.
• 1992 - Tracy Barlow tells Ken Barlow that his partner's son Mark Redman's father is Mike Baldwin. Steve McDonald drives Mike's car while working at the garage, and is hit by another car on a dual carriageway.
• 1998 - Final appearance of Tony Horrocks.
• 2006 - Violet Wilson finds out she is pregnant and decides to have an abortion. Tracy Barlow scalds herself with an iron so that she can pretend her boyfriend Charlie Stubbs is abusing her.
• 2009 - Final appearance of Blanche Hunt.
