• 1949 - Len Fairclough marries Nellie Briggs.
• 1961 - Doreen Lostock begins working for Leonard Swindley in his shop Swindley's Draperies.
• 1976 - The famous "Muriel" is pasted onto the wall of No.13, much to Hilda Ogden's delight.
• 1982 - Brian Tilsley returns after five months working in Qatar.
• 1991 - In a rage after learning of Mike Baldwin's deceptions, his wife of one week, Jackie points a loaded shotgun at him.
• 1995 - The Duckworths inherit £30,000 from Jack's deceased brother Cliff.
• 1998 - As the regulars watch the World Cup final in the Rovers, Rita Sullivan collapses from carbon monoxide poisoning in her flat.
• 1999 - Tyrone Dobbs starts to become a lodger of the Duckworths when he moves into the Park Road B&B.
• 2000 - Tyrone Dobbs proposes to Maria Sutherland at the top of Blackpool Tower.
• 2002 - Archie Shuttleworth rescues Blanche Hunt after her fall downstairs at No.1.
• 2006 - After a short period when Steve McDonald's minicab licence was up for renewal, Street Cars reopens with Lloyd Mullaney as the new licencee.
• 2012 - Peter Barlow finishes with Carla Connor and suggests to Leanne Barlow that they get back together, but Leanne laughs at the suggestion.
