- 1919 - Thomas Hewitt marries Mary Makepiece, uniting two warring families. Thomas and Mary move into 7 Coronation Street.
- 1935 - Ramsay Clegg is born.
- 1966 - Jim Mount hits Elsie Tanner when they row. When Len Fairclough catches up with him they fight but Len comes worse off.
- 1977 - Mike Baldwin agrees to sell No.5 to Ray Langton for £2,500.
- 1988 - Curly Watts suspects Alf Roberts of racism after he gains the tenancy of the corner shop flat over Shirley Armitage.
- 1992 - Rita Fairclough turns down Ted Sullivan's proposal of marriage.
- 1994 - Sarah Louise Platt is rushed to Weatherfield General with a ruptured appendix.
- 2003 - Shelley Unwin's sister Sharon dies.
- 2005 - Craig Harris attacks Martin Platt, still believing that he murdered his father.
- 2018 - Josh Tucker drugs David Platt before raping him. Fiz Stape discovers her daughter Hope is the problem child, not Ruby Dobbs, as she had previously thought.
