Coronation Street history
- 1956 - Bert Tilsley marries Ivy Nelson.
- 1962 - Ena Sharples writes to Prince Philip for his support in the residents' campaign not to rename the Street (this storyline caused problems for Granada as a law at that time forbade mention of individual members of the Royal Family in drama presentations).
- 1977 - Mavis Riley moves into The Kabin flat.
- 1983 - Bet Lynch finds out that Jack Duckworth is one of the clients on offer at the "Bill & Coo Video Dating Agency". Hilda Ogden's brother Archie Crabtree dies.
- 1984 - Albert Tatlock's funeral takes place. Linda Cheveski moves back to the Street.
- 1997 - Jack and Vera Duckworth win a crooked raffle set up by Alec Gilroy for a holiday in Las Vegas (the holiday events are chronicled in the spin-off video Viva Las Vegas!).
- 1999 - Greg Kelly is cornered by the police and arrested after he tries to hold Sally Webster and the girls hostage (Final appearance of the character).
- 2003 - The Harris family come off their witness protection scheme and stop using the false name of Nelson.
- 2004 - Fred Elliott is set up in a scam to "buy" a Thai bride, Orchid Pattaya.
- 2005 - Diggory Compton opens up his baker's shop at 18 Victoria Street.
- 2011 - Sean Tully and Marcus Dent resume their relationship. When Alan and Dorothy Hoyle learn about John Stape's dual identity as Colin Fishwick, he ties them up and locks them in their cellar.
- 2016 - In Blackpool, Jenny Bradley saves Jack Webster's life after a tram nearly runs him over.
