12th January - Tracy Barlow bludgeons Charlie Stubbs.
15th January - Charlie Stubbs dies from his injuries.
26th February - The entire Street has to evacuated when a suspected bomb is discovered in the Peacocks back garden.
18th March - The Morton family arrive.
25th March - In a special two-hander set the night before Tracy's trial, she reveals to Deirdre that she did kill Charlie in cold blood.
2nd April - Tracy is found guilty of Charlie's murder in court.
16th April - Kasia Barowicz dies from a fall down the stairs at Underworld. Paul and Carla Connor cover up the death to avoid being prosecuted for working illegal hours.
4th June - Paul Connor is angry with Leanne Battersby for supposedly wrecking his marriage - through Leanne, Carla Connor has found out that Paul has been using prostitutes. Paul locks Leanne in the boot of his car but crashes into another vehicle.
6th June - Paul Connor dies from injuries sustained in the car accident.
4th August - Angela Hawthorne dies from a heart attack.
3rd October - Death of Frank Nichols.
31st October - Jason Grimshaw and Sarah Platt marry. David Platt drives his car into the canal in an attempt to ruin the wedding day but fails.
30th December - Sarah and Bethany Platt leave for a new life in Italy.
31st December - Vernon Tomlin and Liz McDonald tie the knot after Vernon has a punch-up with Jim McDonald.
