• 1976 - Hilda Ogden becomes a grandmother for the second time when daughter-in-law Polly Ogden gives birth to 8lbs, 6oz Jayne.
• 1982 - Len Fairclough agrees that he and Rita can move into the newly-built No. 7 but instantly changes his mind when offered a large sum for the house. Rita is not pleased.
• 1986 - Gloria Todd finishes with Alan Bradley when she finds out he has been seeing Rita Fairclough on the side.
• 1995 - Against opposition from Alec Gilroy, Vicky Arden sets a date for her wedding to Steve McDonald.
• 2002 - Nick Tilsley returns to Weatherfield for the first time in three years for Gail's wedding to Richard Hillman.
• 2003 - Ken Barlow throws Tracy out of No.1 when he discovers how she drugged Roy Cropper into her bed for a bet.
• 2004 - Jamie Baldwin is arrested for attacking Vinny Evans, his step-mother's boyfriend.
• 2011 - Ken Barlow rumbles and foils his grandson James Cunningham's scheme to borrow £50,000 against No.1 and leave with the money. James manages to flee after assaulting Ken, preventing him from phoning the police.
