- 1974 - Beth Tinker is born.
- 1984 - Stan Ogden dies in hospital from a heart attack.
- 1994 - Ken Barlow pressures Emily Bishop into refusing to be a witness at Deirdre and Samir Rachid's wedding.
- 2003 - Liz McDonald and Fred Elliott meet up with Bet Lynch at a Newton & Ridley function in Blackpool.
- 2005 - David Platt tries to blackmail Jason Grimshaw when he finds out Jason is two-timing Violet Wilson with Sarah Platt. When Jason doesn't respond, David attacks him but falls to the ground when Jason holds him off.
- 2008 - Having just returned from a year in Africa, Hayley Cropper breaks the news to husband Roy that she wants to go back, but quickly changes her mind. Amber Kalirai tells Tara Mandal that her boyfriend Dev Alahan has had an affair with her mother Nina.
- 2011 - Chris Gray leaves the street after losing his job and flat when the residents discovered he'd been lying about his brain tumour in order to reunite with Cheryl.
- 2012 - Fiz Stape is injured at Underworld in a malicious act by Kirsty Soames, who turned her machine back on while she was trying to fix it.
- 2014 - Michelle Connor leaves Steve McDonald. Andy Carver poses as Gavin Rodwell when Michael Rodwell meets "his son" for the first time in over twenty years.
- 2016 - Michael is found dead at The Carter Warehouse development by Todd Grimshaw. Pat Phelan discovers he has been scammed by Vinny Ashford.
- 2018 - Sally Metcalfe's trial for fraud begins.
Real world[]
- 1983 - Tracy Langton makes her last appearance for nearly twenty months. It is the last time the character is played by Christabel Finch - on her next appearance she is played by Holly Chamarette. The character does not leave the programme during the intervening months and continues to live, unseen, at No.1.
