• 1977 - Elsie Howard agrees to divorce her husband Alan as Elaine Dennett wants to marry him.
• 1983 - Jack Duckworth, under the name Vince St. Clair, is set up with Carole Munro through Bill & Coo Video Dating Agency. Carole is actually Jack's wife Vera.
• 1988 - Percy Sugden moves into No.3 with Emily Bishop.
• 1994 - Denise Osbourne tells Ken Barlow she's expecting his baby.
• 1998 - Leanne Tilsley tells Nick Tilsley she wants a divorce. Elsie Seddon dies following a stroke.
• 2008 - Paul Clayton leaves Weatherfield rather than go to court to face an arson charge.
