• 1968 - Elsie Tanner is told that her estranged husband Steve has been found dead.
• 1984 - Fiz Brown born.
• 1991 - Gail Tilsley and Martin Platt have their hen and stag nights. At the latter Don Brennan meets barmaid Julie Dewhurst.
• 1995 - Betty Turpin agrees to marry Billy Williams.
• 1996 - The Platt family return from seeing Stephen Reid in Canada but Nick Tilsley has remained there to study.
• 1998 - Fiona Middleton leaves the Street to live with her parents.
• 2006 - Shelley Unwin returns to the Street for mother Bev's wedding to Fred Elliott and reveals that she is pregnant with Charlie Stubbs' baby.
