• 1964 - Dennis Tanner finds out that his mother Elsie has taken a job posing for art students to support him while he is taking a hairdressing course.
• 1966 - Annie Walker is nominated as a Councillor in the local by-elections.
• 1981 - Ken Barlow marries Deirdre Langton.
• 1983 - Bert Tilsley goes missing. This is the final appearance of the character.
• 1987 - Mike Baldwin pressures his wife Susan to have a baby, but she doesn't feel ready.
• 1988 - When Gus Ferris needs somebody to sing at the Old Band Club, Alec Gilroy suggests Jack Duckworth, knowing that he will be terrible. Jack is booed off the stage. Malcolm Reid visits Audrey Roberts from Canada.
• 1992 - Rita Sullivan tells Mavis and Derek Wilton about Ted Sullivan's brain tumour.
• 2003 - Audrey Roberts turns down Archie Shuttleworth's marriage proposal. Archie decides to leave the Street.
• 2012 - Izzy Armstrong has a miscarriage.
