- 1962 - Stuck for the night with two performing sealions, Dennis Tanner puts them in the unsuspecting and absent Walkers' bath at the Rovers Return Inn.
- 1966 - Ray Langton steals £5 from the Barlows.
- 1977 - Suzie Birchall cleans the chimney at No.11 by dropping a brick down it, but ends up covering the Ogdens living room in soot.
- 1979 - A lorry crashes into the front of the Rovers, shedding its load of timber. Tracy Langton is believed to be buried underneath the debris.
- 1988 - Bet Gilroy loses the baby she is expecting.
- 1990 - Tina Fowler is jilted by fiancé Eddie Ramsden during her hen party.
- 1994 - Curly Watts deals with shoplifting Jamie Armstrong and his mother Tricia.
- 1999 - Billy and Becky Mallett's christening takes place. On the same day, Sharon Gaskell's wedding to Ian Bentley is aborted when she accuses him in the church over his affair with Natalie Barnes.
- 2001 - Ryan Sykes starts to stalk Emma Watts for causing the death of his brother, Dean.
- 2005 - Tommy Harris's body is discovered at the garage.
- 2008 - Michelle Connor forces her natural son, Alex Neeson, to leave the Rovers.
- 2011 - Edna Hargreaves, a customer at the salon, dies from natural causes while under the drier. Graeme Proctor agrees to marry Xin Chiang as she faces deportation when her visa expires. Repairs are completed on the corner shop flat, The Kabin and the Kabin flat following the December 2010 tram crash. The Kabin reopens.
