Amanda Noar (born 1962 in Prestwich) appeared on Coronation Street in April 1983 as a Girl who mistook Eddie Yeats and Chalkie Whitely for a couple of rag and bone men as they moved Chalkie's belongings to Chapel Yard on Stan Ogden's window-cleaning cart.

Trained at London's Arts Educational School, her other credits include roles in Starting Out, Brookside, Boon, Lovejoy, Stay Lucky, Casualty and the films Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, The Zero Option, I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle and The Frontline. As the director of Impact Theatre, her works include productions of Into the Woods, Oliver!, Seussical, Stepping Out, Funkface!, Hot Mikado and Fiddler on the Roof.

She is the former wife of actor Neil Morrissey.
