Andrea Lawrence (born "Maureen Smith" on 20th June 1936 in London) appeared on Coronation Street in May 1971 as Janet Stockwell, an applicant barmaid at the Carousel Club.
She had a long list of credits from the early 1960s to the beginning of the 1980s, quite often in the part of buxom barmaids and the like in shows such as On the Buses, The Fenn Street Gang and For the Love of Ada but she also appeared in some serious productions including roles in several of the acclaimed Wednesday Plays. On film, she appeared in Danny Jones, Countess Dracula, Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell and the sex comedy I'm Not Feeling Myself Tonight.
