Andrew Brittain appeared in Coronation Street in August and October 1986 as a Waiter.
He also appeared in the same year in First Among Equals but soon had a career change and became one of Granada Television's best known in-vision continuity announcers, news readers and voice-over artists, contributing to many editions of Granada Reports, World in Action and Stars in Their Eyes Kids and appearing as a television presenter in Cracker, Emmerdale and State of Play.
