Anna McIntyre is Tina McIntyre's mother who appeared in 2008. She went storming round to Gail Platt's and forbade Tina from seeing her boyfriend, David in a Young Offenders Institution.

Tina planned to visit him with a picture of his gay grandfather, Anna had previously been heard on the phone earlier that day.
