Anne Woodward (born 15th May 1920 in Montevideo, Uruguay; died 10th March 1972 in Coventry) appeared on Coronation Street in December 1967 as Mrs Potter, the mother of one of Ken Barlow's pupils.
She also appeared in Call Oxbridge 2000, Sergeant Cork, Dr. Finlay's Casebook, Mrs. Thursday, City '68, Z Cars and The Misfit.
On radio, she was heard in productions for Saturday Night Theatre, The Sunday Play and Midweek Theatre.
Stage roles include productions of The Waltz of the Toreadors, The House by the Lake, Doctors of Philosophy, Devil May Care, Maigret and the Lady, Celebration and The Man who Came to Dinner.
