Bill Croasdale played five minor roles in Coronation Street episodes over three decades. He was the un-named Policeman in the second episode, played Street milkman Bert Lodge in two 1965 episodes, Mr Fearnley in 1978 and Mr Cartwright in 1980. His final role was as a Clerk of Court in 1989. In addition he appeared in a second season episode of the Street spin-off Pardon the Expression and a second season episode of The Brothers McGregor.

Away from Coronation Street, he had a small regular role as a Court Usher in Crown Court.
