Brian Oulton (born 11th February 1908 in Liverpool, died 13th April 1992 London) appeared in Coronation Street in January 1964 as Mr. Quaile.

His career began as a child actor, making his first film appearance in 1931 with Gracie Fields and later movie roles included parts in Doctor in the House, Private's Progress, Charley Moon, Carry On Nurse, Carry On Constable, The Bulldog Breed, The Kiss of the Vampire, Carry In Cleo, Carry On Camping, Ghandi and Young Sherlock Holmes.

His television career ran from just a few months after the start of the BBC's service in 1936 and included many plays in the fledgling service. Later parts included roles in Hancock's Half Hour, ITV Television Playhouse, BBC Sunday-Night Theatre, The Army Game, Steptoe and Son , The Saint, Softly Softly, Emergency-Ward 10, The Wednesday Play, The Avengers, Department S, The Dick Emery Show, Father Dear Father, Brideshead Revisited and Jemima Shore Investigates.
