Brooke Vincent was born 4th June, 1992 in Audenshaw, Manchester. She is the third person to play the part of Sophie Webster, taking over the role since Episode 5756 (12th May 2004). She had last been played by Emma Woodward the previous month.
Brooke decided she wanted to be an actress at the age of seven and made her television debut in 2002 in The League of Gentlemen. She attended Fairfield High School for Girls and studied drama at college.
Brooke has also been in dramas aired on BBC Radio 4. Brooke is the cousin of co-star Ellie Leach. She took a break for three months from Coronation Street to appear in the stage play Be My Baby.
