Bryan Sweeney (born 1955 in Salford) appeared on Coronation Street between September and October 1975 as Chris Ashton, one of the youths responsible for starting the fire at the Mark Brittain Warehouse, which caused the death of factory worker Edna Gee.
His other credits include roles in A Family at War, Follyfoot, Z Cars, The Liver Birds and Queenie's Castle.
