Caroline Strong is a British actress who played Mrs Allen (Vera Duckworth's renal consultant) in Coronation Street, during the transplant storyline involving Vera's grandson Paul Clayton in late 2000. She first appeared as Mrs Allen on 30th November 2000. 

Her other television credits include Monroe, Sirens, Wire in the Blood, Vincent, Prime Suspect IV (Scent of Darkness), Island at War, Thin Ice, My Fragile Heart, Trust, Reversals, Waterloo Road, Soldier Soldier, New Street Law, Sweet Medicine, Peak Practice, Where the Heart Is, Trial by Jury, Holby, A&E, The Bill, Doctors, The Royal, Merseybeat, At Home with the Braithwaites, Heartbeat and Emmerdale.

She has also worked extensively in theatre and radio. She was a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company at Broadcasting House with over forty credits across Radio 3, Radio 4 and the World Service.  Her stage appearances include engagements at the National Theatre, London; the Library Theatre, Manchester; the Redgrave Theatre, Farnham; the Oldham Coliseum and the Liverpool Playhouse.
