She began performing from an early age and had become a three-time world champion in Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance by the age of nine.
Her other credits include roles in Gruey, Gruey Twoey, Beachcomber Bay and Being Eileen. Aside from acting, she co-presented BBC Saturday morning children's programme It's Wicked! in the late 1980s and worked as a continuity presenter for Channel 5's children's programming strand Milkshake! in 1999.
