Cavan Malone (born 25th November 1939, died in 1982) was the son of the Irish tenor Danny Malone and his wife Hazel, who ran the Corona Stage School in London during World War II. On Coronation Street he appeared in February and March 1961 as Gordon Davies, husband of Joan Walker.
A former child actor he had appeared in films when he was eight, having a role in the Alec Guinness classic Kind Hearts and Coronets in 1949 and appeared on television far back as 1951. He appeared in series such as No Hiding Place and Dixon of Dock Green but appears to have quit acting in the mid-1960s after appearing in 633 Squadron.
