Cavan Malone (born 25th November 1936 in Marylebone, London; died 8th March 1982 in Richmond, Surrey) appeared on Coronation Street in February and March 1961 as Gordon Davies, fiancé, and later husband of Joan Walker.

He was the son of the Irish tenor Danny Malone and his wife Hazel, who ran the Corona Stage School in London during World War II. A former child actor, he had appeared in films when he was eight, having a role in the Alec Guinness classic Kind Hearts and Coronets in 1949 and appeared on television far back as 1951. He appeared in series such as No Hiding Place, Emergency-Ward 10, Probation Officer and Dixon of Dock Green, but appears to have quit acting in the mid-1960s after appearing in Downfall.

Stage productions include roles in Queen Elizabeth, The Constant Couple and for the RSC, The Merchant of Venice, Richard III, Antony and Cleopatra and King Lear.

Cavan died from heart failure, aged just 45.
