Charlie Dickinson has extensive professional acting experience including theatre credits with Hull Truck Theatre, York Theatre Royal, The West Yorkshire Playhouse and many more. He has also worked in television for over twenty-five years. His academic interests include: acting, directing, stand-up comedy, storytelling, the work of Pina Bausch and English medieval theatre.
In Coronation Street he has played four roles:
- A Locksmith in March 1996
- Photographer Gordon Holness in September 2002
- The Solicitor who was instructed to work on behalf of David Platt in April 2008
- The Manager of the Shawbrooke Country House Hotel in July 2010.
His other TV and film credits include roles in Last of the Summer Wine, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, Heartbeat, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Casualty, Holby City and Emmerdale.
