Clare Cathcart (3rd October 1965 - 4th September 2014) appeared on Coronation Street in May 1996 as Yvonne Bannister, the Wages Clerk at Firman's Freezers who ran off with Reg Holdsworth.

She attended Jones Memorial Primary School and Enniskillen College, where her fondness for drama was clear and took part in college productions before a move to London to study English and Drama at Royal Holloway.

Her credits included roles in Perfect Scoundrels, Lovejoy, Paris, Searching, Casualty, The Bill, Psychos, Ultimate Force, Tracy Beaker Returns, Doctors, Call the Midwife, Holby City, New Tricks and the films Up on the Roof, Hotel Splendide, Breathtaking, Secret Society, The Feast of the Ghost and The Healer.

On stage she appeared in productions of The Crucible, Translations, The Indian Boy, The Comedy of Errors, Aristocrats, Romeo and Juliet, Gone to LA, Loyal Women, Our Private Life, Truth and Reconciliation and Once a Catholic.

She passed away after what was described as a "catastrophic" asthma attack, aged 48.
