Clare Owen (born October 1936 in Colwyn Bay) appeared on Coronation Street in April 1964 as Rosemary Frazer, the wife of businessman Laurie Frazer.
RADA-trained, she appeared in the regular role of Louise Borelli in Crossroads, along with credits in Dixon of Dock Green, Boon, Class Act, Doctors and Emmerdale.
Film roles include Echo of Diana, Shadow of Fear, These Foolish Things, Hippie Hippie Shake and The Casebook of Eddie Brewer.
On stage, she has appeared in productions of Lost in Yonkers, The Importance of Being Earnest, Lion in Winter, Hamlet, The Rape of the Belt, Romeo and Juliet and Murder at Midnight.
