Colin Prockter (born 4th June 1946 in Croydon) is an actor and TV writer who has played four roles in Coronation Street:
- Solicitor John Halpern in September 1992 and January 1993.
- Newton & Ridley relief manager Rodney Bostock from February to November 1995.
- Butcher Eddie Maddocks from June to August 2005.
- Adrian Clarkson, an old university friend of Ken Barlow in July 2008.
Other TV and film credits spanning six decades include Z Cars, A Family at War, Budgie, New Scotland Yard, Ransom, The Sweeney, Play for Today, Dempsey and Makepeace, Minder, The Famous Five, Grange Hill, Kavanagh QC, Trial & Retribution, Casualty, My Family, Afterlife, The Bill, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Doctors, Heartbeat, Rock & Chips, Doctor Who, Toast and Mount Pleasant.
Prockter also co-wrote TV series Luna in the mid-1980s alongside Colin Bennett.
