Conrad Asquith played art teacher Peter Milton on Coronation Street in 1976. His other credits include Doctor Who and The Professionals.

He attended Oxford University to study combined politics, philosophy and economics but bored with the latter subject he changed to Mandarin Chinese while interesting himself in the university's drama society. Afterwards he toured with an opera company working as a stage manager.
