The unnamed Consultant at Weatherfield General met with John and Fiz Stape in May 2011 to discuss their daughter Hope's echocardiogram results.
She explained how the images showed a real-time picture of the blood flow through the heart and how the valves were functioning. In comparison to the last test, the results were more favourable, with the doctor suggesting that Hope would not have to attend the hospital so frequently and the discontinuation of diuretic drugs.
