Glenys Pike finds out that Cyril's divorce came through eighteen months ago (they have been engaged for six years) and is most annoyed at the deception! His rival, amad policeman Sergeant Dangerfield, thinks Cyril is molesting Glenys and puts him in hospital . Cyril's solicitor, Mr Cox, tells him that the copper is charging him with assaulting a police officer and Glenys for indecent assault.
