David Simeon (born as "David John Townsend" on 17th May, 1943 in Chippenham, Wiltshire) is a British actor who has played two minor roles on Coronation Street: sales rep Bobby Simpson in December 1981 and Dr. Gareth Bird, a consultant at Weatherfield General in July 1998.

Simeon attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, completing his training in 1964 and has since worked extensively in theatre and television. His first role on the screen was as murderer Frank Hudson in the series Sexton Blake during 1967.
