David Smith appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in September 2013 as Underworld customer and Macnee's rep Matthew Grayshot; and he returned to the programme in October 2017 as the Barrister representing Ian Yardley at the trial of Nathan Curtis.
He has also appeared in Emmerdale, The Marchioness Disaster, Waterloo Road, Spooks:Code 9, Hollyoaks, Scott & Bailey and Doctors.
His stage roles include parts in Lord of the Flies, A Month in the Country, The Proposal, The Dumb Waiter, The Whipping Boy, Meantime, The Winslow Boy and The Postman Always Rings Twice.
