Davyd Harries (born 31st January 1937 in Porthcawl, Bridgend) appeared on Coronation Street in August 2000 as the Judge who presided over Jez Quigley's trial for the murder of Tony Horrocks, heard at Weatherfield Crown Court.

His other credits include roles in The Chief, Angels, Doctor Who, Casualty, Berkeley Square, Accident, Hunter's Walk, Cousin Bette, Softly Softly, Department S, No Exit, Blake's 7, Minder, The Gentle Touch, The Charmer, Oliver Twist, The Bill, Bergerac, Cadfael, Bugs, Dalziel and Pascoe, The Knock, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, and Murphy's Law.

On stage he has appeared in productions of Death of a Salesman, Arsenic and Old Lace, Licence to Murder, The Love Match, Under Milk Wood, Rattle of a Simple Man, Someone Waiting, Lady Windermere's Fan, Treasure Island, Hotel Paradiso, Barefoot in the Park, The Creeper and Boeing Boeing (Hornchurch Repertory Company), Henry V, Puntila, The Thwarting of Baron Bollingrew, The Investigation, Hamlet and The Revenger's Challenger (RSC), Country Ways, Harvey and Plaza Suite (Bristol Old Vic).
