The unnamed Delivery Man awoke Rita Sullivan in the early hours of a Monday morning in order to drop of a consignment of the day's newspapers for The Kabin. Rita told the man that she'd got flu and to knock at 3 Coronation Street. Answering the door in his dressing gown, Norris Cole wasn't impressed with Rita's stunt - she'd been out drinking the previous evening with friend Doreen Fenwick and was nursing a hangover. Feeling put-upon, Norris was in no hurry to open up the shop and the delivery man got impatient, telling Norris that he'd got other shops to drop-off at.
