Edward George Caswell (born 22nd December 1940 in Islip, Northamptonshire; died 20th October 2022) appeared on Coronation Street in July 1973 as P.C. Henderson, who assisted in investigating the assault and mugging of Bet Lynch.
His other credits included roles in Crown Court, Soldier and Me, The Tripods, How We Used to Live and the 2022 film The Railway Children Return.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Fire Raisers, Romeo and Juliet and Jack and the Beanstalk.
