Edmund Kente appeared in Coronation Street in June 1981 as the Reverend Neafsey.
He began his acting career in 1968 after training at the Birmingham Theatre School and has also appeared in Not A Penny More, Not A Penny Less, Brookside, EastEnders, The Bill, Doctor Who, Law and Order:UK, The Tudors and Downton Abbey. On the stage he has been in over two hundred productions including Otherwise Engaged, The Candidate, Love Valour Compassion, Travels With My Aunt, An Ideal Husband and Letting In Air.
