Elaine Donnelly (born 2nd March 1948) appeared in Coronation Street in January 1982 as Caroline Wilson, Gordon Clegg's fiancée and later wife (the part was played by Sarah Thurstan in 1995 and 2002).
Elaine's career as an actress began in 1969 and since then she has appeared in a variety of dramas and comedies such as Please Sir!, Upstairs Downstairs, The Fenn Street Gang, Hunter's Walk, Dixon of Dock Green, Z Cars, Emmerdale, EastEnders, Casualty, Between the Lines, Heartbeat and Daziel and Pascoe.
