Elizabeth Banks appeared in Coronation Street in June 2007 as an A&E Doctor who attended to Paul Connor when he was fatally wounded in a car crash. She returned to the programme, again as an unnamed Doctor in January 2009 when patient Mike Scott suffered a heart attack in the hospital grounds.
Not to be confused with the American film actress of the same name, the British Elizabeth Banks has appeared in a range of television series since the early 1990s, including Birds of a Feather, The New Statesman, Holby City, Harbour Lights and Doctors.
