Elizabeth Hill appeared on Coronation Street in December 2013 as a driving examiner, who conducted Roy Cropper's practical driving test.

She made her television debut in 1988 on a Spanish series called Paradise. Following training at the Northern Ballet School and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, she carved out a prolific stage career encompassing productions of Cheryomushki, Godspell, Slice of Saturday Night, Between the Lines, They're Playing Our Song, Phil and Jill and Jill and Phil, Honk!, Great Expectations, Dusty - the Musical, Second From Last in the Sack Race, Othello, Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Villette, Sleeping Beauty, The Story Of..., Mamma Mia, The Full Monty, Bad Blood, The Last Women, The Light Princess, The Masque of the Red Death and the Kinks musical Sunny Afternoon.

On screen, credits include Harry and Cosh, Family Affairs, Violence, The Bill, The TNT Show, Downton Abbey, Line of Duty, The Dumping Ground, Rebirth, EastEnders and Doctors on television, plus the films A Chorus of Disapproval and The Man You're Not.
