The Enquiry Officer manned the front desk at Weatherfield Police Station when Gary Windass, accompanied by his army mate Quinny reported back there for the continuing investigation of his alleged assault on Thomas Hughes. While the two were sat waiting, Kirk Sutherland turned up and claimed to the Officer that he was the guilty party to save Gary a charge and possible expulsion from the army.
