Plot[]
Len is horrified to hear Jerry is out of work and telegrams the Labour Exchange, telling them to send Jerry for a job at the yard. Ken shows a lot of interest in Yvonne. Lucille gets a job at a button factory but doesn't want it as there are no perks. Len wants to take Jerry on at the yard but Ray doesn't think they've got enough work. Ena gets Jerry to do odd jobs at the community centre. Ken makes hotpot for Yvonne and asks her if she wants to go to Glasgow with him to visit his kids. She tells him that she's not a substitute for Val - he has to decide what he wants.
