Plot[]
The Ogdens' washing machine breaks so Stan has to clean Ruby Green's washing by hand. Suzie and Gail get more money in their wage packets. Suzie thinks it's because Mike fancies her. Fred suspects that Len is two-timing Rita with Elsie because of the atmosphere between them. The washing gets soaked as it is rained on. Hilda enjoys Stan and Eddie's anguish. Rita tells Len that she trusts him but she'll never let him alone. Stan returns the washing and Ruby pays him £1. Fred tells Rita that the neighbours are talking about Len and Elsie and offers her comfort. Mike arranges a date with Suzie.
