Plot[]
Mavis thinks Derek is paranoid about Victor. Tina hopes Eddie is in the clear as he hasn't heard anything more from Marie Lancaster. Derek tries to interest Bettabuy in Pendlebury Paper Products but to no avail. Jenny thanks Rita for not giving up on her and tells her that she and Flick are moving out of halls. Jack kids Alf that an open-all-hours grocer called Patel is buying the shop opposite the Rovers. Audrey is excited about moving to Grasmere Drive. Victor assigns Derek to an overnight job in Bedford, wining and dining a potential customer. Alf tackles Maurice Jones about selling the new shop to a grocer. Jones says he doesn't care what the buyer does with it. Rita offers Jenny and Flick the tenancy on No.7 when she moves. Jenny is unsure as she has unhappy memories in the house but they ultimately accept. Alf tells Audrey they can't move and will have to open later to compete with Patel. Des and Steph Barnes return from honeymoon. Marie's brother Carl threatens Eddie unless Marie gets Jamie back.
