Plot
Joanne sleeps rough on her way to Weatherfield. Mr Khan feels that Steve is to blame and rows with Jim. Martin's car breaks down. Mr Khan forgives Flick when she says she did her best with Joanne. Steve phones the McDonalds and asks if Joanne is back but has to hang up before he say more. Martin starts at the cafe. Joanne is picked up by a Motorist, who buys her lunch. She realises that he has designs on her and ditches him. Mr Khan is furious when Liz tells him Joanne isn't with Steve. Kevin tells Martin that the car has had it and offers him £50 for scrap. Ken receives a letter from Peter Barlow telling him that he's marrying Jessica Midgeley in Portsmouth next week and they want Tracy as a bridesmaid. Deirdre is annoyed that Ken hasn't told him about their separation and refuses to go to the wedding. Mr Khan resolves to take both of his daughters back to Canterbury. Gail refuses to use any of the money from Brian's death to buy a new car. Reg does Curly a favour and makes the computer course clash with Barmouth. Joanne returns to Weatherfield, given a lift by a Lady in a car. Flick and Mr Khan give her a warm welcome.
