Am embarrassed Audrey realises Jim will tell him everything and pretends that Jim has been after her. Alf is furious. Jim doesn't like the way his employer Frank Gregson lords it over him. Gregson can't get hold of Jim. Jim wishes he'd thumped Alf. Vera goes to a spiritualist meeting with her friend Brenda Thornton for a laugh. Ken persists with Deirdre, buying her and Dave drinks.
