Plot[]

Vera shows Joss her card from the Queen when he returns from Scarborough. Joss calls Jack disrespectful towards the royal line when he claims he sent it. Mike and Jackie start house-hunting again. Alma resigns herself to closing the cafe but Gail plans a fight. Sally can't get Rosie out of her mind at the shop. Phyllis falls for Joss's charms at the charity shop but he flirts with Emily instead. Jim tells Betty he returned from Belfast to keep the business going. Gail visits the landlord's agent with a view to barter but he only agrees to pass on her offer to the landlord. Joss waits in the charity shop for Percy to arrive and take his leg measurements. When Percy turns up and relieves Emily, a smitten Joss forgets about the trousers and invites himself along to lunch at the Rovers with her. Mike bumps into Gail outside the estate agents and is worried to hear that Alma might lose the cafe. Phyllis is sad that Steph is flying home tomorrow as Des won't need her any more. Mike advises Gail to deal directly with the landlord though the agent won't tell her who it is. He promises to sort everything out but asks her not to tell Alma. Percy worries that Emily might like Joss and warns her not to fall for his flattery. Sally tells Kevin that she doesn't want to work; she wants to be with Rosie.
