Sharon warns Rita that if she can't accept Ian then she'll have to stop working at The Kabin. Toyah forces Les to promise Janice to take her away on holiday. Sharon is amazed when Ian drives her to Bolton to show her an expensive house he wants to buy. Gail is annoyed when Sarah wants to go out with her friends all the time. She's annoyed when Martin is sympathetic to her. Gary returns home with the twins and shrugs off offers of help from the neighbours. Sharon feels they can't afford a £90,000 house. Ian says they can if she sells The Kabin.
